What is KVS Translator Exam?
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It conducts recruitment exams for various teaching and non-teaching posts. Junior Translator (Hindi) is a Group B Non-Teaching Post under KVS.
What is the Educational Qualification for the KVS Translator Exam?
Masterβs Degree in Hindi or English with the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level, or Masterβs Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects at graduation level. AND Diploma/Certificate in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. or 2 years of translation experience in Central/State Government or autonomous organizations.
What is the syllabus/exam pattern?
The exam is of 180 questions carrying 180 marks. The total time given is 3 hrs. All the questions are MCQs. There is no negative marking.
